Lucille V. Masterson, 90, of Russell, died comfortably on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Lucille was born March 5, 1936, in Grand Valley, PA, the daughter of the late Clessen and Anna Mae (Harvey) VanGuilder. She was employed as an Office Manager at Quail Greek Oil Company in Houston, TX.

Lucille loved spending time with her family and also really enjoyed 3 card poker at the casino. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. She was a previous member of the Garden Club and Master Gardeners.

Lucille is survived by two sons, Daniel Masterson and Patrick Masterson; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death on April 8, 1993, by her husband, Francis Mills Masterson; and sisters, Adah Fromnecht and Lil Lilberg.
