Lorretta Rae Lang, 82, of Scandia, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Kinzua valley Healthcare and Rehab. Loretta was born June 25, 1937, in Waltersburg, PA, the daughter of the late Clyde R. and Manilla Wilson. Loretta was a graduate of Uniontown High School, the graduated from the California State Teachers College, and later earned two Masters Degrees from West Virginia University. She was an Elementary School Teacher, from which she retired as a Reading Specialist for the Warren County School District. Loretta was a member of the Youngsville Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling and family. Loretta is survived by her husband Gene Lang of Scandia; two daughters, Lara Lang of Tuscon, AZ and Lori Utegg of Warren; one sister, Audrey Grace of Uniontown, PA; one brother, Clyde l. Wilson Jr. and wife Cindy of Baltimore, MD; two grandsons, Damian and Brandon Sweet; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, PA, 16365 on Wednesday, October 2, from noon until 1pm, at which time a funeral service will be held there with Rev. Richard Sheriff, officiating. Burial will be in the Scandia Cemetery.
