Lois L Fitzgerald, age 93, formerly of Stoneham, passed away on Saturday April 28, 2018 at Rouse Home Lois was born March 29, 1925 in Phillipsburg, PA, the daughter of the late John and Ruth Bailor. She was raised in Tidioute where she attended and graduated from High School. Lois later worked as a Dietary Clerk at the Warren General Hospital, retiring after many years of service. She has been a longtime member of the Warren Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, and a regular attendee until her health failed her. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who always enjoyed baking cookies for the children and grandchildren. She loved to watch baseball in her favorite rocking chair. She truly enjoyed her family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Gerald "Jock" Fitzgerald and his wife Joyce, of Stoneham, and Richard Fitzgerald, of Sheffield; three sisters-in-law, Bennie Bailor, Flossie Bailor, and Joann Fitzgerald; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death in 1985 by her husband Gerald E. "Putt" Fitzgerald; a son, Larry Fitzgerald, and his wife Pam Fitzgerald; eight siblings, John, Jim, Howard, Virginia, Justine, Gertrude, Dot, and Eunice. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, warren, PA, 16365., on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, from 10-11am, at which time a funeral service will be held there with Rev. Marcus Briggs, officiating.
