Rev. Lloyd J. Ace Sr., 91, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Lloyd was born May 5, 1928, in Cowansville, PA, to the late Roy and Mabel (Brown) Ace. Lloyd attended Toccoa Falls Christian College. Upon graduation, he became a minister, spending the majority of his ministry years in Warren County. He loved the Lord with all his heart and soul. Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His family meant the world to him and he loved them all dearly. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Emily Ace, whom he married on July 25, 1953; his children, Joyce Ace Card (companion, Howard McAvoy), of Celeron, NY, Carol (William) Rowley, of Lakeland, FL, Brian (Michelle) Ace, of Alexandria, LA; his sister, Arlene Plummer, of Livermoore, ME; his 10 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; an several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Lloyd J. Ace Jr.; and his brother, Leroy Ace. Friends will be received from 12-1 pm on Friday, June 7, 2019, at the Faith Fellowship Church of God, 208 Market St, Warren, PA 16365. A funeral service will begin at 1 pm, with Rev. Marcus Briggs, officiating. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery. The family has requested memorial donations be made to, Faith Fellowship Church of God, 208 Market St, Warren, PA 16365.
