Linda Arlene Westover, 65, of Russell, PA, died peacefully at home Sunday, September 29, 2024, after a long struggle with cancer. Linda was born January 12, 1959, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Robert and Joan (Greene) Sawyer. She earned an AA degree in Parks and Recreation from Catonsville Community College and worked as a Department Manager for JC Penny in Columbia, MD, and later as a nurseryman for Ekey's Florist. Linda spent 15 years with 4H as a small animal project leader for Silver Stirrups 4H in Baltimore County and an Organizational leader for Pine Grove Pioneers 4H in Warren County. Linda is survived by her husband Pete Westover, whom she married in 2005; daughters, Jill (Gordon Bull) and granddaughter Eva, and Aubrey (Steve Galloway); stepdaughter Rachelle (Peter McCarthy) and grandchildren, Ranger and River. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sisters, Janet and Carol. A Celebration of Life service for Linda will be held at Wiltsie Community Church, 2981 Swede Hill Rd, Russell, PA, on October 29, 2024, at 7:00pm.
