Lillian R. Huckabone, 92, of Pleasant Township, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Warren Manor.  Mrs. Huckabone was born August 11, 1923, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of the late Julius and Meta (Schrumm) Sidon.

Mrs. Huckabone was a member of the Gray Ladies at Warren General Hospital.  She had spent many winters in Zephyrhills, FL.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting, camping, and went to NCHA Camping National and attended other camping conventions.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews; and her caretakers, Priscilla Sidon, of Warren, and Johanne Forney, of Youngsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2003, by her husband, Harry Huckabone; in 2008, by her son, Donald Huckabone; ten siblings, Otto, William, Albert and Robert Sidon, Ella Gardner, Ida Schwanke, Mary Schuler, Gertrude Toner, Annie Higginbotham and Freda Mowrey.

A private family graveside service will be conducted at Westview Cemetery, with Dr. Dale Haight, pastor, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of choice.
