Lillian Bowley, 94, died unexpectedly on her birthday, April 19, 2021 at the Edinboro Manor. Lillian was born April 19, 1927 in Bradford, Pa. to the late Louis and Mary Bizzaro. She lived in Bradford until her marriage in 1949 at which time she moved to Sheffield with her husband of 61 years, Ralph Bowley who died in 2010. She relocated to Edinboro in 2013 to spend more time with her family. Lillian enjoyed most spending time with family and friends. Her other interests included knitting and watching sports both in person and on television. She also worked for a number of years as a cafeteria cook in the Sheffield High School. She was a lifelong member of St Anthony's Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Bowley, and several brothers and sisters and son Frank Bowley. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Bastow, husband David of Edinboro, PA and a son Michael Bowley of N. Warren, PA, companion Gail Wright and grandchildren; Thomas Bastow, wife Kristen of McKean, PA, Elizabeth Jaeger, husband Paul of Edinboro, PA, Michael Bowley and wife Nicole of Flanders NJ, Jamie Krenn and husband Dan of Hinesdale, NY, and seven great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Memorial donations can be made to the Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 551, Sheffield, PA 16347, or a charity of your choice. Friends will be received by family on Thursday, April 22 from 6 to 8 PM at Peterson/Blick Funeral home and a private funeral will be held on Friday, April 23.
