Laura Katherine Moore, 100, formerly of Pittsfield, PA, died Sunday, April 1, 2018, at the Rouse Home.  Laura was born September 20, 1917, in Punxsutawney, PA. She was the daughter of the late William and Alice (Burkett) Frederick.

She was employed for a time at Sylvania and Kittinger Furniture in Buffalo, NY.  She enjoyed spending time in North Tonawanda with her daughter, where she was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church.  She also attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Corry, PA.  Laura enjoyed her family, working on crafts, and macramé.

She is survived by two daughters, Grace Goodrich, and husband, James, of Pittsfield, and Janet Emerson, of North Tonawanda, NY; a son, Larry Moore, and wife, Barbara, of North Port, FL; two grandchildren, Lisa Moore, of North Port, FL, and James Moore, and wife, Kris, of Toccoa, GA; and three great-granddaughters.

In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death on February 10, 1959, by her husband, James Moore, whom she married April 19, 1937; three sisters, Dorothy Garvey, Grace Casterline and Lula Covert; and one brother, Harry Frederick.

Services for Laura will be private.  Burial will be in Acacia Cemetery in North Tonawanda, NY.
