Laura J. Johnson, 92, of Warren, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the Warren Manor. Laura was born on February 25, 1931, in Lockawana, NY, the daughter of the late Lewis D. Scott and Jane Boyette Scott. She graduated high school from Southwestern, NY, and started working at the Post Journal. She left there and started work at Warren Times Observer in the Circulation Department from which she retired. Laura was a former member of the Moose Club and the American Legion. She enjoyed boating, camping, snowmobiling, and fishing on Chautauqua Lake. Laura is survived by her children, Jeanne Steele and life partner, Art Faix from Rotunda, West Florida, Scott Johnson and life partner, Susan Lesinski from Holland, NY, Donna Scioscia and husband Donald from Oakridge, NJ, and Craig Johnson and wife Lori from Warren, PA; five grandchildren, Bryan, Ryan, David, Jessica, and Chelsea; six great grandchildren; brother, Donald Scott from Ashville, NY; many nieces and nephews; and family friend, Frankie Jo Johnson. In addition to her parents, Laura is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Jerome R. Johnson; daughter Nancy Kent; and brother Walter Johnson. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc, 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, at which time a memorial service will be held.
