Laura Jean English Haight, 89, formerly of 92 Fladry Lane, Warren, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at the Rouse Home.  Laura was born March 29, 1924, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Henry L. and Laura Alene Walbridge English.

She was employed by New Process Co. for many years.  She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  She loved her family, especially spending time with them around the holidays and at picnics.  She also enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived by four children, Donald Haight of Newburg, IN, Patsy Stranburg, and husband, Carl, of Warren, PA, John Haight, and wife, Luz, of FL and Dixie Gern, and husband, Steven, of Rochester, NY; one brother, George English, and wife, Anne, of Warren, PA; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn L. Haight, whom she married on January 16, 1943; her son, Ronald Lee Haight; three brothers, Dick English, Henry Gale English and Robert English; and two sisters, Flo Bidwell and Betty Ruhlman.

A private memorial service will be held for the family.  Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.
