Laura A. Dunkle, 86, of Warren, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the Cambridge Home of Warren.  Laura was born October 30, 1931, in Jamestown, NY. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Carrie (Card) Mason.

Laura was a 1949 graduate of Youngsville High School.  For twenty eight years, Laura worked at GTE Sylvania as an executive secretary, retiring in 1980.  She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church,  and was a former member of the Saron Lutheran Church where she was active in the bell choir and church choir.   Laura also started the church library, and was on the church council.  She was on the Youngsville Borough Council and enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her close friend, Eleanor "Toot" Larsen, of Warren, and many other friends and caregivers.

In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death on February 28, 1997, by her husband, James W. Dunkle, whom she married June 4, 1953, at Frewsburg Methodist Church; and in 1954, by her infant son, Scott Mason Dunkle.
