Larry W. Anderson, 81, of Russell, passed away following a brief illness on December 17, 2021, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House. Larry was born on July 2, 1940, in Lander, Pa, the son of the late Floyd and Margaret Beck Anderson. He was a 1958 graduate of Warren Area High School. After graduating he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for 3 years. He worked as a regional manager for Bowman Distribution from which he retired. Larry was a member of the Cable Hollow Golf Course, Bowman Distribution, Eagles Club, and the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club. He loved spending time with his family and was known to his grandchildren and others as "Ba". He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing with his tractors and wintering in Florida. Larry is survived by his wife Maxine A. Fox Anderson whom he married in 1986; two daughters, Jodi L. Guthrie (Bart Cully) of Pittsburgh, Pa., Kerri A. Burge (Richard) of Warren; stepchildren, R. Todd Zimmerman (Malena Pack) of Florida, Jodi Maeder Anderson (Matt) of Warren; granddaughters, Madison Guthrie of Mars, Pa., Keyah Marshall (Jacob) of Warren; step grandchildren, Chris Zimmerman of W.V., Dan Maeder, Tyler Maeder, Jake Anderson, Sydney Anderson all of Warren, Sage, Jenna and Holley Pack of Florida; great-granddaughter, Avery Ann Guthrie Thomas of Mars, Pa; sister, Shirley Carlson (Sonny) of Russell; stepmother, Cathy Anderson of Florida; stepsisters, Pam Moretti of Florida, Leslie Childs of Russell; niece, Christy Johnson (Matt); nephew, Wayne Carlson, and several more nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his Stepfather, Herman Jansen; stepsister, Kris Hamic; stepdaughter in law, Tami Zimmerman. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family during the summer. The family suggest memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren, One Main Ave, Warren, Pa, 16365.
