Kris A. Lord, 59, of Warren, passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 14, 2020 while visiting in Reading, PA. Kris was born December 12, 1960, in Warren, the son of the late William and Ruth Sedon Lord. A lifelong Warren resident, he was a 1979 graduate of Warren Area High School. Kris worked a few years at the National Forge Company, and then went to work at the United Refining Company as a warehouse supervisor for thirty plus years, retiring recently due to illness. Kris loved to play golf, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. Kris especially enjoyed his family and his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by many. He is survived by his three children, Curtis Lord and partner Jordan of NYC; Cassandra Galbier and husband Leo, of Hawaii, Courtney Davidson and husband Ian, of Warren; two brothers, Thomas Lord of Warren, and Jon Lord and wife Sally, of Warren; three grandchildren, Griffin, Kinley, and Zennith; his late wife's parents, Floyd and Joan Hulings, his her sister-law Kim Hulings Pollock and husband John; and seven nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kris was preceded in death on August 18, 2017, by his wife Deborah S. Hulings Lord, whom he married on June 16, 1987; and a brother Craig Lord in 1976. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna.Ave. East, Warren, PA on Monday, August 17, 2020 from 4 to 7 pm. All mandated Covid restrictions will apply. A funeral service for Kris will be held outdoors at the Jackson Valley Country Club, 1947 Jackson Run Road, Warren, at 11 am on Tuesday August 18. The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Warren County Shrine Club, or to a charity of choice.
