Kevin E. Maney, 57, of Warren, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at the St. Vincent Health Center, following a brief illness. Kevin was born on January 21, 1963, in Warren, son of Norman and the late Delores (Nelson) Maney. Kevin was a 1982 Warren Area High School graduate and worked in the Oil Field Industry with his brother Joe. He really enjoyed working in the oil field, having made many friends. He loved working on the rig and being outdoors. Kevin also enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, working on vehicles and spending time with family. He especially enjoyed time spent with his sons. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge 109, the Kalbus Rod & Gun Club, the Eagles Club, and the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. In addition to his father, Kevin is survived by his wife, Mary F. (Amacher) Maney; his two children, Kyle M. Maney and Tage M. Maney, both of Warren; his siblings, Karen E. (Mark) Bednar, of Warren, Joyce A. (Dennis) Sheehan, of Jamestown, NY and R. Joseph (Shelby J.) Maney, of Warren; his brother-in-law, Jon Amacher, of Warren; his stepmother, Margaret Maney; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Kevin is preceded in death by his infant sister, Donna Jean Maney; and his father and mother in law, Frank W. and Mary J. Amacher. Friends will be received from 5-7 PM on Sunday July 19, 2020 at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, at the funeral home, with The Rev. Jeff Ewing, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, officiating. Masks required and CDC guidelines are being enforced. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
