Obituary

Kenneth Fitch, 90, of Lakewood, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 13, at WCA Hospital.

Mr. Fitch was born June 9, 1926, in Sheffield, PA.  He was the son of the late Glen and Josephine Fitch.  In 1944, Mr. Fitch joined the US Navy.  He served with the C Bee's 64th Naval Construction and spent two years in the Philippines.

He worked for the Blackstone Corporation in Jamestown for 40 years, from which he retired.  He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing, and was a charter member of Crescent Camp.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Mr. Fitch is survived by one brother, Bob Fitch, of Sheffield, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death in 1980 by his wife, Joyce Jones Fitch, whom he married in 1950; sisters, Helen Fitch, Edith Fitch, Glenna Danielson and Betty Blymiller; and brothers, Harry Fitch and Gale Fitch.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Monday, October 17, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, at which time a funeral service will be held there with Rev. Dr. Mark E. Hecht, lead pastor, First United Methodist Church, officiating.  Military honors will be provided by members of the Sheffield & Clarendon VFW.

Burial will be in Sheffield Cemetery.
