Kathy G. Beach, 59, of North Warren passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, at the John & Orpha Blair Hospice House.  Kathy was born August 18, 1954 in Warren, PA. She is daughter of the late Homer and Irene Gibson.

Kathy grew up on a farm and was a graduate of Warren High School.  She was employed by the Blair Corporation for eighteen years. Kathy was a member of the First Church of God, and she enjoyed camping, cooking, shopping and her dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence A. Beach, whom she married August 28, 1976; two sons, Steven M. Beach, Warren, PA, and Scott G. Beach, and wife, Jacelyn, and their daughter, Juliette, York, PA; two sisters,  Edith Comella, and husband, Joe, Butler, PA, and Jennie Schuman, and husband, Walt, Warren, PA;  one sister-in-law, Fran Gibson, Clarendon, PA; three nephews, Mark, Terry and Denny; three nieces, Penny, Cindy and Sheila; and her aunt Jean.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Gibson; her brother, Homer Gibson; and her nephew, Jonnie Crouse.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, on Monday from, 5 to 8 p.m., and on Tuesday, May 6, at the First Church of God, 1111 Madison Avenue, Warren, from, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Bill Hargenrader, pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow at Warren County Memorial Park.
