Kathryn K. Jones, 90, of Clarendon, PA, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Warren General Hospital. She was born August 27, 1933, in Warren, the daughter of the late Warren E. and Emma O. (Keefer) Miller. Kathryn was a 1951 graduate of Warren High School and then received her certificate at Hoff Business School. She was employed at Struthers Wells Co. for 10 years and then at Warren County School District for 25 years from which she retired. She was the church organist for over 60 years at Clarendon United Methodist Church and also at the Warren County Jail. She enjoyed music, especially playing the piano and cello. She was also a member of the Philomel Club in Warren. Kathryn is survived by her children, Catherine (Jon) A. Peterson from Clarendon, PA, Thomas (Malinda) E. Jones from Stoneham, and Andrew (Debbie) G. Jones from Clarendon, PA; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Kathryn is preceded in death on May 18, 2016, by her husband, Robert E. Jones, whom she married on August 17, 1954, in Jamestown, NY; and brother-in-law, Richard Jones. Friends will be received at First Methodist Church, 200 Market St., Warren, PA, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 10:00am to 11:00am, at which time a funeral service will be held with Reverend Mark Hecht and Pastor Ruth Ann Varrato pastor, officiating.
