Karl J. Specht, 75, of Scranton Hollow Road, Warren, died Friday, February 2, 2018, following a brief illness.

Karl was born July 14, 1942, in Erie, to John and Luella (Miller) Specht.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966 and retired from Warren State Hospital in 1993 after thirty years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Lawson Specht, whom he married in Warren on May 27, 1964, and who died August 17, 1998; and also by a sister, Joan Howlett.

He is survived by a niece, Dria Howlett McCauley, of Ann Arbor, MI; and by several cousins.

No public services will be observed.
