Karen N. Rosborough, 71, of 119 Crestview Blvd., Warren, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 24, 2014.

Karen was born March 28, 1943, in Wilcox, PA, the daughter of the late Richard and Anna E. (Gertsch) Joseph.

Karen was a graduate of Wilcox School and the DuBois Business College, and a Warren resident since 1967. She was employed by Ten Four Ltd. of Russell, PA as a shipping clerk, from which she retired.  She was very active in the St. John's Lutheran Church for 45 years.

She was a volunteer for the Warren Library Association; and was a member of the Red Hat Society and a Book Club Member.  Karen enjoyed her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Amy Rosborough, of Landsdale, PA; two sons, Allen Rosborough, and wife, Carol, of Irvine, PA, and Barry Rosborough, and wife, Kathy, of McDonald, PA; two grandchildren, Allison Rosborough, of McDonald, PA and Connor Rosborough, of Irvine, PA; one nephew, Richard Soule, of Erie, PA; and a special friend, whom she treated as her own, Angels Baran and her husband, Shawn.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brother, Francis Joseph, and her sister, Barbara Soule.

Friend will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA, on Sunday, April 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 Pleasant Dr., Warren, PA, on Monday, April 28 at 11 a.m., with The Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, pastor, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Warren Library Association, 205 Market St., Warren, PA 16365, St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 Pleasant Dr., Warren, PA 16365, or Struther's Library Theatre, 302 W 3rd Ave, Warren, PA 16365.
