Karen L. Kane, 77, of Warren, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Warren General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born on August 14, 1946, in Philipsburg, PA, the daughter of the late Frank and Betty (Atkins) Saupp. She was a 1964 graduate of Houtzdale High School and a 1967 graduate of Philipsburg State General Hospital School of Nursing. For forty- two years, she was employed at Warren General Hospital from which she retired in 2009. Karen will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Karen is survived by her husband, Harold Robert Kane, whom she married on June 17, 1967; children, Lucinda (John) Peterson of Warren, Traci Anderson of Marysville, PA, and Kristy (Jason) Crawford of Louisburg, NC; grandchildren, Ashley, Nichole, and John Peterson, Cassandra Anderson, Connor and Easton Crawford; one great grandchild, Parker John Haag; one brother, Richard (Lisa) Saupp of Port Matilda, PA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Timothy Anderson. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
