Julie L. Cummings Passinger, 66, of Russell died Saturday, June 25, 2016, at St. Vincent Health Center of Erie, PA.  Julie was born February 27, 1950, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Elsie (Gheres) Cummings.

Julie was a 1969 graduate of Warren High School.  Lovingly known as the "Million Dollar Grandma," after exceeding one million dollars in insurance services, Julie knows the power of prayer and a positive outlook.  She had the gift of giving others hope after they had given up on themselves.  She was a member of Praise! Fellowship, where she will always be remembered as the encourager of all encouragers.  With love, and the guidance of the Lord, she and her husband have been blessed even through the most difficult of times.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jack R. Passinger, Sr.; five children, Jack R. Passinger, Jr., and wife, Gina, of Kane, Jeffrey J. Passinger, and girlfriend, Becky Snow, of Frewsburg, Jamison H. Passinger, and girlfriend, Ruth Belcher, of Sheffield, Jodie L. Lindell, and husband, Mike, of Warren, and John J. Passinger, of Jamestown; three sisters, Marie Stewart, Darlene Stewart, and husband, Dave, and Linda Scalise, and husband, Doug, all of Warren; four brothers: Bruce Cummings, and wife, Terry, of Warren, Harold Cummings, and wife, Sarah, of Russell,  Ed Cummings, and wife, Louise, of Warren, and Bill Cummings, also of Warren; twelve grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Cummings and Lois Gustafson; and four brothers, Rich, Louis, Sydney and Donald Cummings.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Wednesday, June 29, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The funeral will be held at Praise! Fellowship, 7451 Market Street, Russell, on Thursday, June 30, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rick Rohlin, lead pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell.
