Joyce C. Wingard, 88, of Pleasant Township died Monday, June 27, 2016, at UPMC Hamot Medical Center. Joyce was born January 6, 1928 in Santa Rita, TX. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Kinander) Cromwell. Joyce was a 1946 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed by GTE Sylvania for thirty-five years before retiring in 1986. She was a member of the St. Paul's Church where she had previously been active in the church council and evangelism council. Joyce is survived by her husband of 60 years, Reynolds E. "Renny" Wingard; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her siblings, Harry D. Cromwell and Helen C. Rickerson. Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Friday, July 1, from 6 to 8 p.m., and at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 306 Conewango Ave., Warren, on Saturday, July 2, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at which time, a funeral service will be held there, with The Rev. Lawrence Scofield, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Warren County Memorial Park.
