In the early morning hours of August 16th, Joyce Berglund left this world at peace in Warren, PA with her loving family by her side. Joyce was born Pearl Joyce Bailey on December 9th,1938, in Queen City, Missouri to loving parents Opal McElhinney and Frederick Bailey. Her family lovingly joked that she was found in a haystack. Joyce was one of five siblings, who enjoyed spending time together while her family worked at the auction. Joyce met the love of her life, Allan Berglund, while he was stationed in Kirksville, Missouri. After they married, Joyce followed her husband across the country to settle down in Allan's hometown of Warren, Pennsylvania, where Joyce fit right in. Joyce went on to be a love mother to two children, Scott Berglund, married to Janice Berglund, and Lisa Wingard, married to Donald Wingard. Joyce loved to host her family for Christmas every year, beaming with joy as her grandchildren, Jessica Auchenbach, Michael Berglund, and Anna Wingard, gathered around their stockings Christmas morning. Her Christmas cookies and cinnamon roll were an instant hit, making the holidays feel warm and cozy. Outside of family life, Joyce was a long-time member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and a dedicated employee, working at Blair for over 50 Years. She was well known for her festive attire and love of Halloween costumes. After retiring, Joyce enjoyed spending quiet days with Allan in their home where so many memories were made. She especially loved receiving pictures of her only great granddaughter, Lucy Auchenbach. Joyce's presence in her family and friends' life will be truly missed. Her joyful demeanor and genuine kindest will be felt eternally despite her physical absence. Please join the family at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E.
