Joshua Robert Cochrane, 27, of Warren, died Friday, December 1, 2017, at his home. Joshua was born October 29, 1990, in Jamestown, NY. He is the son of Robert J. and Tammy S. (Wilson) Cochrane, of Warren.
Joshua was a 2009 graduate of Warren High School, where he was active in football and had served as co-captain. He continued his love for the sport after high school by joining The Rebels in Warren County Flag Football League. For the past several years, Joshua worked in the oil fields for Team Services. Joshua enjoyed outdoor activities and kayaking. He was a member of the Emanuel Temple Church of Jamestown, NY.
A dedicated and loving father, Joshua was always spending time with his daughter. He will always be remembered for his charming personality, infectious smile, and a great sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, Joshua is survived by his beloved daughter, Daejah; three siblings, Christopher Wilson, and wife, Starr, Damon Cochrane, and Damaris "Demi" Cochrane, all of Warren; two aunts, Mary McCoy, of Halifax, and Vivian Anderson, of Georgia; uncle, Jason Wilson, of Warren; maternal grandparents, Sandy Tucker, and husband, Timothy, and Daniel McCoy; nephew, Devon Wilson; niece, Araya Wilson; Joshua's companion, Calyn Fitch; and many cousins.
Joshua was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Martha Cochrane and Gilbert Vasquez.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 8, at 11 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church, 109 W 3rd Ave, Warren, with The Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, pastor, and The Rev. Uvie Stewart, Jr., Emanuel Temple Church, co-officiating.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial contribution should consider The First Lutheran Church of Warren.
