Joshua C. Bupp, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 22, following a lengthy illness.

He was born January 12, 1928, in Tidioute, PA, the son of the late Mary Eiler Bupp and Fred Bupp.  He attended Tidioute School.  He worked for Norton Wood Products, Penn Furnace, Ettingers Keystone and retired from Crossett, Inc., after 30 years as a mechanic.

He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was first assigned to Camp Breckenridge, then Walter Reed Hospital, with the remainder of his time being served in Okinawa.  There was a named Corporal of the month and receive a furlough trip to Hong Kong.  He was a lifetime member of the Tidioute Pequignot Yeager Post 8803.

Joshua moved to Warren in 1955.  He enjoyed woodworking, working in his yard, attending Warren Dragon athletic events, his home, and his loving family.

He married Ruth Turner on April 3, 1948, at the First Presbyterian Church in Tidioute, by the late Dr. William Prout.

He his survived by his son, Mark C. Bupp, and wife, Michelle K., of Warren; and four children, Heather Cianciosi, and husband, Anthony, of Syracuse, NY, Cody Bupp, Alexa Bupp, and Jared Bupp, all of Warren; his sister, Velma Bailor, of Tidioute; brother, Earl Bupp, of Grand Rapids, MI; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Ruth T. Bupp; two sisters, Bertha Moore and Mabel Curtin; and four brothers, Fred Bupp, Ferald "Buzz" Bupp, Gerald Bupp, and Robert Bupp.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave., E., Warren, on Sunday, March 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, March 27, from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time a funeral service will be held there with Rev. Dr. Mark Hecht, pastor, and Rev. Jon Swart, associate pastor, First United Methodist Church, co-officiating.

Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
