IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jon Andrew
Petersen
December 22, 1952 – December 21, 2020
Jon Andrew Petersen, 67, of Pleasant Township, Warren, PA died unexpectedly on Monday December 21, 2020 at the Warren General Hospital. Jon was born December 22, 1952, in Warren, the son of H. Allen Petersen of Warren, and Norma G. Petersen, of Russell, both of whom survive. Jon, a lifelong Warren resident, graduated the Warren Area High School in 1970, and went on to become one of the founders and the President of Papco Inc. In addition to his mother and father, Jon is survived by his best friend and wife, Karen Lindell Petersen, whom he married in June of 1989; he was a loving father to Jobie A. Petersen and his wife Kelly, of Canonsburg, PA and his daughter, Kasey P. Deja and her husband Tom, of Collegeville, PA; a loving grandfather to Kylie and Kaden Petersen, and Drew and Ty Deja. Jon is also survived his sisters, Julie Stauffer and husband Joe, of York, PA, and Lynn McCuen and husband Guy, of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Jon was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Petersen. He was known to everyone as a hard worker and was most at peace when he was in the woods working or hunting. Many knew him for his love of working the farm. If he weren't on the farm or working, Jon could be found on the Kinzua Lake, where he was known simply as "JP", relaxing with his friends and family, or racing up and down the lake in his boat. He was known for his infectious laugh, his big heart, and he loved to tease. Jon was always willing to lend a hand to help his family and friends. The impact he had on so many will never be forgotten, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of really knowing him. A celebration of Jon's life will be held and announced at a later date. The Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc was been entrusted with arrangements, and those wishing to send condolences may do so at www.petersonblickfuneralhome.com The family suggests donations in memory of Jon be made to the Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation, P.O. Box 241, Haborcreek, PA, 16421, or to the Warren YMCA to for children's programs at 212 Lexington Ave. Warren, PA 16365 "A wonderful soul was taken from us way too early… until we meet again, rest easy my love, and may they have fast boats in Heaven"
