John "Jack" Weller Park, 90, a lifelong resident of Warren, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Warren General Hospital. Jack was born April 11, 1935, in Warren, the son of the late Chester and Helen (Mumford) Park. He was a 1953 graduate of Warren High School. After graduation he attended Allegheny College, graduating in 1957 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960 at Ft. Jackson, SC, and Germany. After he returned, he worked at New Process Company/Blair Corporation in various departments and retired after 43 years as Credit Services Director in 2000. Jack was an avid golfer and reader and was a daily patron at the Warren Public Library. He was a member of the Conewango Club, Conewango Valley Country Club, Elks Lodge #223, and the First Methodist Church where he was a member for 90 years and served on various committees and as an usher captain. Jack is survived by his wife, Dorothea (Maier) Park, whom he married on February 2, 1963; son, Christopher Park and wife Shelley of Warren; grandson, Jacob Park and wife Angela of Carlisle, PA; granddaughters, Sarah Park of Atlanta, GA, and Amanda Park of Paris, France; niece, Susan Park Guidry of Dallas, TX; and nephew, Keith Hartman of Los Angeles, CA. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by son, Michael Park; grandson, Nathan Park; and sister, Cynthia Hartman. Friends will be received at First Methodist Church, 200 Market St., Warren, PA, on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, at which time a Memorial service will be held with Reverend Jon Swart, Associate Minister, officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren Public Library, 205 Market St., Warren, PA, or to Paws Along the River, 212 Elm St., Warren, PA.
