John R. Albaugh, 87, of Stoneham, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 2, 2018. John was born January 31, 1931, in Kelletville, PA, to the late James N. and Mary (Almeda) Albaugh. A lifelong area resident, John was a self-employed logger for many years, retiring in 1993, after serving in the U.S. Air Force for three years. John enjoyed the outdoors, liked woodworking and his beloved black lab TY. John is survived by two daughters, Debra (Zack) Hoenes, Russell, and Wendy (Rodney) Lindell, Russell; four sons, Richard (Sharon) Albaugh, Clarendon, Randy (Adriene) Albaugh, Clarendon, John Albaugh, Clarendon, and Mike (Brenda) Albaugh, Clarendon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean M. Albaugh on June 2, 2010; a son, Ronald Albaugh, on December 20, 2003; a daughter, Pamela J. Fitzgerald, on July 11, 2005; an infant twin grandson; a great grandson; and a sister, Alice Campman. Funeral services are being provided by Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc. Per Johns request, there will be no visitation. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
