Joan R. McIntyre, 78, of Clarendon, PA, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA. Joan was born October 16, 1945, in Warren, the daughter of the late Jerald B. McIntyre and Ora E. Gardner McIntyre. She was a graduate of Warren High School and was employed as a dispatcher at Warren City Police for over 23 years from which she retired. She also worked part time for the census bureau. Joan was a member of the Mensa society. She enjoyed reading, canning, gardening, genealogy, and collecting penguins. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Joan is survived by her two children, Justine Zimmerman and Jeffrey Rogers, both of Warren; one granddaughter, Savannah Casey and husband Ryan; three great grandchildren; and one nephew. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. No services will be held for Joan at this time.
