Obituary

Jo Lee Hamm, 79, of Warren, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2020, at her residence. Jo Lee was born on January 14, 1940, in Clarendon, PA, to the late George T. and Dora (Green) Lobdell. Jo Lee was a 1957 graduate of Warren Area High School. She worked as a custodian at Warren Area High School and North Warren Elementary, retiring in 1999, after 27 years. She enjoyed ceramics, garage sales, collecting dolls and traveling. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. They will all miss her dearly. Jo Lee is survived by her children, Kimberly Williams, of Warren, Jodi Sterling, of Warren, Julie Lever, of Gainesville, FL, and Kristie (David) Bednez, of Warren; her siblings, Carol Anne (Chuck) Nelson, of FL, Dennis Lobdell, of TX and Randy Lobdell, of Warren; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Hamm, whom she married on April 8, 1957; her sister Nancy; and two infant granddaughters. Friends will be received 10 am – 12 pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365. A memorial service will follow at 12 pm, with Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor of Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating. The family has requested memorial donations be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
