Jesse "David" Reagle, 77, of Hemlock Road, Warren, died Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Warren Manor. David was born December 7, 1940 in DuBois, PA, the son of the late David E. and Violet A. (Chilcoat) Reagle. A lifelong area resident, Dave was the Owner -Operator of Cornwell Tools, from which he retired. He was involved in many things throughout his life, making many friends. He was a member of the Covenant United Methodist Church, where he served as a Trustee, and held various other positions. He was a member of the Barber Shoppers and the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club. Dave was a Charter Member of the Scandia Volunteer Fire Dept, he served on the Board of the Warren County Transit Authority and the Warren County Fair Board. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and he especially enjoyed his family and grandchildren. David also served in the US Army from 1962-1965. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Baldensperger) Reagle, whom he married on July 8, 1967: a daughter, Tammie Sherrard and her husband Robert, of Youngsville, PA; and two sons, Jeffrey Reagle and his wife Lola, of Sugar Grove, PA, and Kevin Reagle and his wife Stephanie of Warren, PA; seven grandchildren, Bryce and Mallory Sherrard, Jolene Campbell and T.J. Cope; and Derek Reagle and Erick and Emilee Shafer; four great-grandchildren; three sisters: Barbara Marti, Betty Olson and Janet Peterson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Samantha Sitler, and brothers-in-law, David Marti, and Wayne Olson. Friends will be received on Thursday, July 5, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA, and Friday, July 6, at the Covenant United Methodist Church, 1624 Pennsylvania Ave., E., Warren, PA for one hour prior to a memorial service to be held there AT 11 am, with Rev. Ralph Culp, pastor, officiating. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Hospice of Warren County, and to the Staff at the Warren Manor, for their care and compassion during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Covenant United Methodist Church Memorial Fund 1624 Pennsylvania Ave., E., Warren, PA, or Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Avenue, Warren, PA 16365.
