Jerry B. Michaels, 75, of Malvina Street, Warren, Pa., passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Warren General Hospital.

Jerry was born August 18, 1937, in Erie, Pa., the son of the late Bliss L. and Arlene C. Poorman Michaels. He was a Staff Sgt. in the US Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959.  Jerry was a Fire Fighter for the City of Warren for twenty seven years from which he retired.  He loved to hunt and fish, and also enjoyed spending time with his friends, family and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Donna J. Michaels, Warren, Pa., whom he married on January 9, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio; and two children, Danny Michaels, and his wife, Kim, Warren, Pa. and Kim Harris, and her husband, Steve, Revenna, OH; one sister, Nancy Andos, North Olmstead, OH; and four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Vicki Michaels.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date through the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc.
