Jay Anthony Hollingshead, 77, of North Warren, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at Snyder Memorial Home of Marienville, PA.  Jay was born July 21, 1939, in Warren, PA. He was the son of the late Charles W. and Angeline (Musante) Hollingshead.

Jay was a graduate of Warren High School and had served in the Army National Guard.  He had been employed as an operator at the Penelec Plant in Starbrick.  Jay enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Cloie Hollingshead; four daughters, Catherine Hagberg, and husband, Timothy, of Warren, Theresa O'Brien, and husband, Tom, of Bradford, Laura Suppa, and husband, John, of Warren, and Eva McGraw, and husband, Alan, of Russell; one son, John Hollingshead, of Tiona; four step-children, Barb Carrol, and husband, Robert, of Nebo, NC, James Zimmerman, and wife, Betsy, of Merrimack, NH, Daniel Zimmerman, and wife, Larina, of Warren, and Anthony Zimmerman, and wife, Sandy, of Clarendon; one brother, Charles Hollingshead, and wife, Denise, of Warren; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Hollingshead.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
