Janice Logan, 89, of Lansing Street, North Warren, PA, died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Warren Manor .

Mrs. Logan was born October 19, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary D. (Boggs) Markley. She was a former resident of Hatboro, PA, and a 1947 graduate of the Westchester State Teachers College, A longtime Warren resident, Janice was a Latin teacher for the Warren County School District for thirty years.

She and her late husband were 50 year members of the First Presbyterian Church where she  was Clerk of  Sessions, Women's Association President, and Circle Leader. She had also attended the Tiona Methodist Church. She was also a member of the College Club, the Delta Kappa Gamma Society, the Warren Senior Center, the Blue Stocking Club, the Retired Teachers, and the Blueberry Hill Golf Club.

Janice is survived by two nephews, John Logan (Marsha), North Warren, Larry Logan (Caroline), Clarendon, and three nieces, Sue Metters, Janet Mulhern, and Nancy Mullmix, all of CA.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death on February 11, 2013, by her husband Dr. John Blair Logan, whom she married on June 13, 1964 in Abington, PA.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, PA , on Wednesday, November 12, from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday November 13, at 11 am, with The Rev. Jeff Ott, pastor, First Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell.
