Janet E. Hart, 92, of Warren, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Warren.

She was born on October 31, 1933, in Rockland, PA, to the late Zelma and Clyde Hart.

Janet graduated from Warren Area High School in 1951. Following graduation, she worked in correspondence at the Blair Corp. from which she retired from. Janet had wonderful group of friends that she traveled with to many National Parks here in the United States. She loved the outdoors. She was a very caring and generous person. Family was everything to Janet, she loved them and was very loved by them.

Janet is survived by her nephew, Mike (Diedra) Mohney of Ardon, NC, her nieces, Karen Williams-Olson (Ramsie Young) of Warren, PA, and Marsha (Scott) Korchak of Dubois, PA; her great-nieces & nephews, Nathaniel, Eric, Abby, Rachel, and Chapin; and her great-great nieces & nephews, Claire, Natalie, Allison, River, and Forrest.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sister, Gayle Mohney, on October 28, 2023, and her brother-in-law, Don Mohney, on December 27, 2023.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave E, Warren, PA, 16365. A celebration of Janet’s life will be announced at a later date.

Interment will take place at Warren County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Janet’s name may be made to Paws Along the River Humane Society, 212 Elm St, Warren, PA, 16365.
