Janet Hansen, 99, of Warren, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the Kinzua Rehabilitation Center. Janet was born on January 19, 1920, to the late Esper and Hazel (Sweeting) Mason. She was a 1941 graduate of Warren High School and was a member of the First Lutheran Church. She was employed at the Warren State Hospital, Warren General Hospital and the Watson Home, where she worked as a nurse. Janet is survived by her son, Larry Mathers, of Glen Burnie, MD; her step-children, Aldean (Rich) Mellon, Chrissie Hansen and Judy (Donald) Bak; her six granddaughters; and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, William Mathers; and her second husband, Robert Hansen; and her daughter Sharon (David) Zermane. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365, The Rev. Jeff Ewing, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, officiating. A private burial is to follow. Internment at Westview Cemetery.
