Janet L. "Dutch" Kemery, 82, of Russell PA., passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Saint Vincents Hospital, Erie, Pa. Dutch was born on May 13, 1940, in Warren, the daughter of the late Leonard and Cecelia Thompson. She was a lifelong resident of Warren. She worked at Sylvania, the Office lounge, and for many years at the Cornerstone Lounge and Restaurant, retiring in June, 2002. Dutch loved family, gardening, and going to auctions. She will be remembered as a fun, full of life woman who always had a smile on her face. She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchilren, and great/great-great grandchildren whom she adored. Dutch is survived by her children, Frederick Ellis, Leonard Ellis (Diane), Corey Gray (Richard), and Richard Pratt Jr. (Mary); step-children, Paul (Cindy) Kemery, Denise (Scott) Kemery and Charles (Dakota) Kemery; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dutch was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Kemery Jr. on October 6, 2020; along with her brothers, Robert "Bob" J. Thompson on April 16, 2021, and Charles "Chuck" L. Thompson on October 3, 2021. Friends will be received on Friday, Janurary 6, 2023, at the Peterson – Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E. Warren, PA, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. with Rev. Rick Rohlin, officiating, with a Celebration of Life following at the Russell VFD, 66 Perrigo Ln., Russell, PA, 16365.
