James Eugene Quiggle, 58, of Benjamin Lane, Warren, PA, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 29, 2016 at his residence. James was born February 22, 1957 in Warren, PA, the son of the late John and Mary (Brink) Quiggle. A lifelong Warren resident, he was a 1975 graduate of the Warren Area High School, where he participated in wrestling. He also attended Erie Technical Institute for Drafting. Jim was an over the road truck driver and dispatcher for several years. Jim had also worked at Betts Industries and Petrex, and served in the U.S. Army for three years. He loved all sports, and was an avid Yankees and Cleveland Browns fan. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice(Swan-Winslow) Quiggle, whom he married on June 22, 1987; two daughters, Mary Quiggle-Pickering (Jason), Warren, and Dorothy Battko, also of Warren; three step children, Edward Winslow, Michigan, Travis Winslow, Idaho, and Veronica Pillsbury (Ronald), Warren; two sisters, Diane Cordner (Tom), Tidioute, and Ann Quiggle, Warren; two brothers, Timothy Quiggle (Nancy), Illinois, and Richard Quiggle (Linda), Michigan; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Smith; and a brother, John Quiggle. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, PA 16365 on Tuesday, February 2, from 11am until 1 pm. at which time a funeral service will be held, with Rev. Erica Wellner, pastor, Covenant United Methodist Church, officiating.
