James Louis Cavanagh, III, 65, of Warren, PA, died Sunday, October 12, 2014.  Mr. Cavanagh was born December 10, 1948, in Chicago, IL.

Mr. Cavanagh served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and was later self-employed as a painter.

He is survived by his companion of 17 years, Enola Fortier, of Warren, PA; two daughters, Christine Cavanagh Nunns, and husband, Michael, of Allen, TX and Cathy Cavanagh Kepner, of Rowlett, TX; two sons, James Louis Cavanagh, IV, and wife, Tia, of Mesquite, TX and Cash Pierce, and wife, Kimberly, of Jamestown, NY; two sisters, Mary Kittler, and husband Lou  of Palatine, IL and Barb C. White, of CA; six grandchildren, Jenna, Lauren, Austin, Cathryn, Kennedy and Kiona; one great-grandson, Giovanni; several nieces and nephews; and his former spouse, Patricia Cavanagh.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No public calling hours or a service will be observed.  Burial will follow in Chicago, IL.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Cancer Care Center at Warren General Hospital, 2 W. Crescent Park, Warren, PA 16365.
