Jacob B. Hamilton, 32, formerly of Russell, died Thursday, August 4, 2016, at his residence in Erie.  Jacob was born December 18, 1983, in Warren, PA. He is the son of Kathy L. (Tannler) Hamilton, of Warren, and the late Bryan D. Hamilton.

Jacob was a 2002 graduate of Eisenhower High School.  He was most recently working in Erie.  He was an avid Steelers fan, and enjoyed weight lifting and fitness.  He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his kindness, and how easy it was to speak with him.

In addition to his mother, Jacob is survived by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Lois Tannler, of Warren; one sister, Jamie Hamilton, and husband, Kevin Deal, of Pittsburgh; and one brother, Luke D. Hamilton, and wife, Kirstin, of Warren; and his nieces and nephews, Ethan, Aiden and Adelyn Hamilton.

Jacob was preceded in death on September 22, 2007, by his father, Bryan D. Hamilton.  He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dodie Westfall and Gordon Hamilton.

Friends will be received on Saturday, August 13, at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time a memorial service will be held there with Rev. Rich Pearson, pastor, officiating.
