Obituary

Jack Harrison "Buck" Rossman, 70, of 8 Plum St., Warren, PA, died at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, PA, on Wednesday, October 16, 2002.

Mr. Rossman was born September 13, 1932, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Harrison G. and Marie Schatzle Rossman, he was a lifelong resident of the Warren area. After attending schools in Warren, he served in the U.S. Army for 3 years, and U.S. Navy for 4 years, during the Korean Conflict. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service in Warren for 30 years, retiring in 1990. Later he drove a school van for nine years. He was an avid New York Yankees fan,  was a coach for Little League baseball, and enjoyed bowling and golf.

He is survived by his wife Bernadine O´Brien Rossman; one brother: Richard Rossman of Warren; two sisters: Peggy Haslet of Warren, Beverly Purdy of Honolulu, Hawaii;


three step children; one granddaughter, Nicole Rossman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.



In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sons, Jack H. Rossman, and James E. Rossman both in 2001; and an infant grandson, Cody J. Rossman.

Friends may call at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. , where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 11:00 am.



Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell.
