Hilda Jean Babcoe, 91, of Warren, died on Saturday, October 28, 2019, at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Jean was born October 21, 1927, in Indiana, PA, the daughter of the late Ralph and Hilda Brewis Clawson. A warren resident since 1970, she was employed at Blair Corporation for twenty years, retiring in 1990. She formerly attended the Good News Community Church, and she enjoyed the Warren Senior Center. Jean also enjoyed sewing, reading, and crafts. Jean is survived by two daughters, Donna Lee Babcoe, of Clymer, PA, and Beverly Jean Babcoe of Bradford, PA; one sister, Betty L. Tagger, of Delmont, PA; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Todd Babcoe in 1992; a son, Todd L. Babcoe; a grandson, Brian J. Harkins; a sister, Ruth V. Clawson; and a daughter-in-law, Leona Babcoe. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
