Pastor Herbert Oliver Frost, 72, of RR#2, Box 1586, Clarendon, PA, and formerly of Wellsboro, PA, died at 1:15 a.m. at Warren General Hospital, on Thursday, December 19, 2002.

Mr. Frost was born August 17, 1930, in Franklin, PA, the son of the late Fred L. and Helen Weingard Frost. He attended Ora Jean Barber School in Erie and the Elim Bible Institute, Lima, NY and received his ordination from Elim Fellowship.  He served as a minister in Ansonia, PA, Forest City, Iowa, Laffayette, PA, the Rouse Warren County Home as chaplain, Kingdom Company, Inc., Mansfield, Pa and latest at Chapman Dam and Buckaloon State Parks.  He attended Pittsfield Otterbein United Methodist Church, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife Susie A. Fox Frost, whom he married on October 8, 1955 in Westfield, NY; two sons, Jack Frost, Mesa, AZ, Mark Frost, Wellsboro; four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Robin) Freeman, Mt. Morris, NY, Mrs. David (Julie) Cox, Wellsboro, Mrs. Michael (Susan) Hewett, Manchester, CT, and Mrs. William (Molly) Peachey, Lancaster; one brother, Harold Frost, Buena Vista, CO; seventeen grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Kenneth Frost, a sister Virginia Shepard, and a grandaughter Arline Frost.

There will be no visitation observed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21 at 2:00 pm, at the Pittsfield Otterbein United Methodist Church, with Rev. David Larkin, Watertown, NY, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cerebral Palsy Foundation or to the Ronald McDonald House, Danville, Pa.
