Helen M. Reist, 93, of Warren, PA., passed away on March 6, 2022, at the Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Helen was born in Warren on November 4, 1928, the daughter of the late Donald and Twila Maze Brown. She was a graduate of Warren Area High School and worked at Sylvania for 35 years from which she retired. Helen was a member of the Warren Moose Club, Warren Eagles Club, and the Senior center. She formerly attended the First Lutheran Church. Helen was an avid bowler and avid bingo player. She especially loved her family. Helen is survived by her daughter, Marlene Grant; her siblings, Shirley Hawley and husband Albert, and brother, Larry Brown, all of Warren; grandchildren, Jessica Uber and husband Aaron of Sugar Grove, Pa., Jon Stalder and wife Shelly of Warren; step-grandchild, Ronald Grant; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Helen is preceded in death by her husband William E. Reist; siblings, Nancy Wright, Lois Collins, Allen, Donald, Tony, and Clyde Brown. A Celebration of life will be held at the Lander United Methodist Church 5582 PA-957, Russell, PA 16345, on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren County, one Main Ave, Warren, Pa 16365, or Paws along the River, 212 Elm St, Warren, PA 16365.
