Obituary

Helen A. Clark, 98, formerly of Route 957 Sugar Grove, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at the Rouse Home. Helen was born July 1, 1922 in Sugar Grove PA, the daughter of Alden and Hazel Boswell Stearns. loved the Lord, her church, and life. She always honored veterans in any way possible. Helen was a hard worker. She worked on her family farm, GTE Sylvania for twenty years, from which she retired, and cared for many children over the years. She belonged to the D.A.R, D.A.C., the American Legion, and the Sugar Grove First United Presbyterian Church for many years. Helen is survived by her two sons, Keith Clark of Sugar Grove, and Michael (Linda) Clark of East Point FL; her daughter, Karen Rutsky of Sugar Grove; five grandchildren, Deena Tolley, Kim Blanton, Brion Clark, Theresa Richards and Robert Rutsky; seventeen great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and caring families to include the Southwells, the Thompsons and Clarks. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clark; a daughter, Kathryn Clark; a grandson, Todd Rutsky; and four sisters. Friends will be received from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365. A graveside service will be held on Monday. July 20, 2020 at the Wesleyan Cemetery, at 10:00 am, with Rev. Patty Kuna, pastor of the Sugar Grove First United Presbyterian Church, officiating.
