Harry "Hank" Wilkins, age 66, of Scandia Road, Warren, PA, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at his residence following a brief battle with cancer.
Hank was born March 23, 1950 in Warren, PA, the son of the late and Florence (VanSile) Wilkins.
Hank was a 1970 graduate of Eisenhower High School. He worked as a Press Brake Operator at Donaco Fabricating Marienville, and also Penn Metals, PDM, and Struthers Wells in Warren.
Harry enjoyed working around his house and loved his pond. He was an avid fisherman and loved to golf and play softball. Hank was very devoted to his family and especially his grandchildren and would do anything for them. He was always willing to help people and often enjoyed having coffee with his friends.
.He is survived by two daughters: Amanda Wilkins of Clarion, PA, Amber Kiley and partner Shawn, Olmstead Falls, OH; one son: Justin Wilkins of Warren, PA; six Grandchildren Selinety, Kristina, Scarlett, Griffen, Shane and Adeline;two sisters: Dolly Youngberg and Norma Anderson both of Russell, ;three brothers: Harold Wilkins (Carole) of Russell, Thomas Wilkins (Sharon) of North Carolina . Bill Wilkins of Warren, PA; and his best friend Dick Hansen of Warren.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; James and Ronald Wilkins. and a sister Marjorie Phinney.
Friends will be received at the Cable Hollow Community Church, 3157 Cable Hollow Rd, Russell, PA, on Saturday, January 14, from 1 to 2 p.m. at which time a memorial service will be held there with the Rev. Allan Jones, officiating.
