Harold R. "Bob" Nordstrom, 70, of Warren passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at Warren General Hospital surrounded by his family.  Bob was born August 14, 1945, in Gallitzin, PA. He was the son of the late John W. Nordstrom, Sr., and Lenore M. Nordstrom.

Bob served in the US Navy on the USS Hawkins and USS John Willis during the Vietnam War.  Locally, he was employed by the Warren State Hospital as a Vocational Adjustment Worker, retiring after 40 years.  A very proud father to two Eagle Scouts, Bob was very active in Boy Scouts of America.   He earned the President's award for Scouting in 1990 and was a Scoutmaster and co-founder of Troop 21.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Alberta Nordstrom; two sons, Bob Nordstrom, of Erie, and his children, Kyle, Rachel, Erika and Madelyn, and Brent Nordstrom, and wife, Jennifer Luebbert, of Rockville, MD, and their son, Ian; one brother, John W. Nordstrom, Jr., and wife, Marsha, of Warren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Julie Ann Nordstrom.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA on Friday, January 29, from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, January 30, from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time a funeral service will be held there with Rev. Marcus Briggs, chaplain, Warren General Hospital, officiating.

Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
