Gustave Adolph "Gus" Probst, 52, of Clarendon Heights, passed away following a two and a half year long battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

Gus was born May 7, 1965, in Warren, PA to Richard G. and Mary (Radspinner) Probst, of Clarendon Heights.

A 1983 graduate of Sheffield High School, Gus was employed as a Sawyer for Cochran & Zandi Lumber for the past 30 years.  Gus was an accomplished woodworker, and also enjoyed working on engines, trucks and antique vehicles.  He was a member of the Clarendon Vets Club and enjoyed playing pool and darts.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; two children—Dustin Probst, and companion, Shaley Stockdale, of Clarendon Heights, and Hannah Probst, of Clarendon; three sisters—Deborah Borst, and husband, Jim, of Cherry Grove, Dixie Watson, and husband, Fred, of Warren, and Amy Ei, and husband, John, of Warren; one granddaughter—Amarah Probst; his beloved dog, Whiskey; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Friday, April 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.  A funeral service will be held there on Saturday, April 7, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tim Olson, chaplain for Hospice of Warren County, officiating.

Burial will follow at Warren County Memorial Park.
