Gretchen E. Cassell, 80, of Warren, PA, died on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Golden Living -Kinzua Valley, surrounded by her family.  Gretchen was born December 20, 1933, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late John Henry and Kathryn Park (Bauer) Klenck.

Gretchen was a lifelong resident of Warren.  She was a former member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Warren, PA.  She was an avid reader and owned over 1000 books and read them all.  She loved animals; especially her pets, her cat, Mickey, and her dog, Kody.

She is survived by three daughters, Jerri Brown, of Jamestown, NY, Kathy Cassell, also of Jamestown, and Sue Streit of Warren, PA; one son, Dwayne Cassell, of Warren, PA; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gretchen was preceded in death on December 5, 2004, by her husband, Perry E. Cassell, Jr.; and four sisters, Jean, Tot, Joyce and Lucille.

A memorial service will be held at Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA, on Saturday, August 9, at 11 a.m., Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be private in Oakland Cemetery, at a later date.
