Greta Ellen Porter, 79, of Clarendon died Wednesday, August 1, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born July 12, 1939 in Warren, PA, to the late Raymond and Kathryne (Hansen) Nelson. She is survived by her three children, Cathy Walter, of Warren, PA, James T. Porter Jr, of Youngsville, PA and Kimberly (James) Keller, of Meadville, PA; brothers, Bruce (Debra) Nelson, of Warren, PA, and Gregory (Donna) Nelson, of Clarendon, PA; sister, Sharon Wingard, of Clarendon, PA; 11 grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Porter, whom she married June 20, 1959; and her son Mark Porter. Greta enjoyed her family and especially her grandchildren. It has been requested memorial donations be made for the family to offset funeral expenses.
